Help - users of Novielle gel as a facial filler

While I've had botox myself, and have had no problems with it, a woman I spoke with recently told me that she'd injected Novielle gel as facial filler, as it was represented to her. She's had red rash, painful swelling and now there are hard bumps under her skin. She looks incredibly different that any pre-Novielle pictures. She has gone to doctors and they don't know how long it will last, but speculate at least two years. Has anyone out there had a similar experience? I hope you find this blog and respond.
